Two Taranaki business growth agencies have teamed up, with Venture Taranaki becoming a key regional partner of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce.

“I am delighted to welcome welcomes Venture Taranaki on board as a key regional partner of the Chamber, building the visibility and reach of our region’s development agency to our membership,” said Arun Chaudhari, chief executive of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce.

“Both Venture Taranaki and the Chamber have a focus on supporting our regional business community. Teaming up in this way will see a stronger awareness of all these services, and open doors for more collaborative outcomes.”

The Chamber’s national and international brand would help both Venture Taranaki and the Taranaki region to build profile and gain awareness of all that’s on offer here, Chaudhari said.

Venture Taranaki chief executive Justine Gilliland stated the move will give assurance to the regional business community that there is a coordinated and collaborative approach to growing our region.

“A strong business community requires strong advocates and equally robust business support structures,” Justine said.

“Becoming a key regional partner of the Chamber not only enables Venture Taranaki to communicate its available business services to Chamber members, whether that’s our start-up clinics, our capability development vouchers, or our research and export support, but also provide more opportunities for collaboration across the business community, for the betterment of our region.”

“It’s also about supporting the Chamber so that Taranaki businesses can continue to have access to the full range of business support and advocacy.”
