There are eight AgMARDT contestable funding rounds scheduled for 2018, with the next one closing Tuesday 06 March.

If your business, or future business, is related to the land/agriculture/horticulture/primary processing sectors and you need specialist R&D or marketing assistance with your new ventures or innovations, it’s possible that funding from the Agriculture and Marketing Research and Development Trust (AGMARDT) could help your business, consortium or sector.

If your aim is to add value to waste streams from primary processing, or to develop new products from waste streams, with a short development horizon, BioResource Processing Alliance (BPA) funding could be worth a shot.  They have three funding rounds scheduled for 2018, with the first round closing on Friday 16 February and the next on Friday 20 April and Friday 22 June.

The Venture Taranaki partnership with Massey University has allowed Taranaki-based companies to successfully apply for grants from these entities previously, with Massey Research & Enterprise and specialist researchers at Massey providing great assistance for companies looking to develop new primary sector-related products or businesses.
