Venture Taranaki Chief Executive Justine Gilliland has been elected to the Board of Economic Development New Zealand (EDNZ), the nationwide body of economic development practitioners.

Justine joins EDNZ’s governance at a dynamic time in the organisation’s growth, and will share the board table with ATEED General Manager Pam Ford, CEDA Chief Executive Linda Stewart, Nelson Nelson Regional Development Agency CEO Mark Rawson, Aoraki Development CEO Nigel Davenport, Cities and Regions NZ Director Dr David Wilson, MBIE Provincial Development Unit Investment Director Paul Swallow, Patrick McVeigh of MartinJenkins, and John Hutchings of HenleyHutchings.

“These are exciting times for EDNZ and the new board has the talent, commitment and skills to support EDNZ’s continued growth,” said EDNZ Chief Executive Susan Houston.

Justine will officially join the Board at the EDNZ Annual General Meeting in November.
